This week Natalie had a really bad cold and George and Gio were lucky enough to just have a day of stuffy noses. We had a visit from Aunt Gina. She went with Natalie and Gio to get his Christmas pictures taken (and some 3 month). I may post a couple of these, but I will let you see them when you get a xmas card. Elvia and I are attempting to make the cards this year, we will see how that goes. Papa Phill came on Saturday night and had dinner with us and Gio slept 10 hours last night without waking up. Today, Sunday, Gio ROLLED OVER for the first time. He only did it one time I'm sure you will see more in the near future. See you next week!!!

Giovanni is doing much better sitting up. He wants to look around and almost doesn't want to be held all the time.

Saturday we went on the Heart walk. Here we are with the Grand Rapids Griffin.
Carol was parading around with me claiming I was her own.
Sam and Gio had the same outfits: Gio was the "homecoming king" and Sam's shirt said "I have the world's greatest daddy".

Well this week was hardest on mom than giovanni. Gio started daycare on Wednesday when I went back to work. We are very happy with his daycare place and Janet, the woman who is his main teacher, is great. We've really lucked out. The nice thing is that Gio is so wiped out from daycare he falls asleep very easily. He has started to wake up in the middle of the night again, but it's usually a quick turnaround. George and I have been taking turns getting up. We just all have to adjust to the new routine. We are looking forward to our visit from the Parrish's this weekend!!!!!!!!!!

Gio having some Tummy time. He doesn't mind it too much. He's definitely rocking side to side. Maybe soon he'll roll over.

This weekend we went to Suzanne and Rick Tufts wedding in South Bend, Indiana. Grandma and Granpa Paul were nice enough to come and watch Gio so George and I could have a nice night out. I'd say we had a good time. Maybe too good of a time!!

And he's out. Could this position have something to do with mom doing pilates and yoga while she was pregnant??

Overall, Gio has consistently slept for 8 hours or more for almost 10 days now. It is so fantastic to finally get a bit of sleep.
