Getting packed for the big trip!!

Many of you may know that we leave for a cruise tomorrow!!! We are going with another family (2 young kids) and 2 friends. We arrive in Fort Lauderdale, FL tomorrow and the cruise leaves on Monday. It is the Royal Caribbean "Navigator of the Seas", which stops in Cozumel, Mexico and Belize City, Belize. We will be returning home next Sunday. So far, we have planned a mini-sub tour of the Cozumel Reef, which is supposed to be beautiful. We picked the sub versus snorkeling so we can bring the kids and George doesn't have to worry about losing an appendage to a shark. In Belize, George and I will be going on a Zipline tour through the jungle. Nicole, the mother of the other family, was nice enough to watch Giovanni for the few hours we will be gone. Thanks to Mason, Philly, and Cole we have an overload of summer clothes. Don't worry, Gio is set for formal night, he's wearing a suit!!! I'm sure none of you are worried about me taking pictures of all of this!! I just bought a new camera (up to 12 megapixels) and a 2 GB card which will allow me take about 1000 pictures. We are so excited, especially if you've been watching the news, we have been hammered with snow, infact it's still snowing today. What a perfect time to get out of the cold. We'll miss everyone and please be sure to check up on us at the after the Superbowl because I am sure we will have plenty of pictures. Bon Voyage!!

I learned how to play my drum!

January 20, 2008

Just chilling in my Purdue Hat!!
George joined a band, he is the lead guitar and he kicked butt!
Natalie decided to try her talents on the drums, she did quite well!
Lazy, but freezing Sunday, just lounging on mom and dad's bed

A few kisses from dad.

One of my many teething rings, but still no teeth!!

Giovanni had his 6 month check up this week. The doctor said all is well. He measured in at 27 1/4 inch tall (75th percentile) and 17 pounds 8 ounces(50th percentile). He had a growth spurt in height because he was only 60th percentile at 4 months. We started him on Stage 2 foods and so far hasn't met anything he doesn't like. The biggest triumph this week is being able to sit up for long periods of times, like 15 - 20 minutes. He loves sitting and playing with his toys, he's discovering his hands more, sometimes he'll just stare at them and move them around, maybe thinking 'are these mine?' He's more lovable than ever, I surely can't get enough. We leave in one week for vacation, we are really looking forward to time off of work and just with the family. Stay warm, it's cold here.
