Giovanni had his first boat ride this weekend. He even helped Papa Phill drive the boat. He was great, didn't cry once!! He didn't even mind the life jacket. He loved the swing that was newly added in the back yard. Notice the attempt at getting a picture with all of the grandkids. All is going well here, Gio has finally gotten to the stage of really wanted to be with his mom and dad. He is standing on his own for a good amount of time and attempts to take a step. Less than 1 month until the big First Birthday!!!!

We had a very interesting week. Giovanni has started letting go when he is standing and can stand for about 8-10 seconds by himself. So, I'm thinking Gio will be walking by his birthday. We were supposed to head to Fort Wayne this weekend, but Giovanni got his first molar starting Friday and as you can see from the pictures above that the bib was more than appropriate and boy was he crabby. But, we've made it through one!!! Giovanni also loves playing in the bathroom when George or I are getting ready. He loves turning on and off the water (Don't worry for those of you who are concerned, it's the cold water). I'm sure many of you heard about the helicopter that crashed into the hospital on Thursday. George and I were both there, we both have interesting stories to tell. All is well, but they still haven't occupied the top floor of the hospital. We are looking forward to our anniversary tomorrow, 2 years and many more to go!!!
