We have had an incredible week. Giovanni has slept 8 hour stretches for 4 nights this week. It's really changed things around here for George and I. We can actually spend some time together at night. Gio can really track images and knows when mom or dad comes in the room by their voices. My favorite is after a long night of sleep, going in to his room to get him and he is just looking around, once he catches a view of me he gives the biggest smile, like he is so happy to see me. It just melts my heart. We are going to South Bend this weekend for a wedding. It will be Gio's first time in a hotel and we get to see Grandma and Grandpa Paul. Next week is huge, I go back to work (UGH!!) and Gio starts daycare (double UGH!!), but we'll get through it.
Oh and George's big smile is because gio, hoosier, and I surprised him with a massage on Wednesday morning, he deserves it he's been such a good dad!!
